Subject: recent purchase of 2008 Chevy HHR
Dear Mr. Staropoli:
As a confirmed Oldsmobile driver for the past 30 years, I was disappointed when they discontinued operations. In 2002, I purchased a 2000 Mazda 626 privately. I have been truly happy with its operation, but since I usually hold onto my automobile for at least 10 years and the Mazda is no longer produced, I began my search for a replacement vehicle.
Quite by accident, I viewed my HHR on an internet site and this put me in touch with Stephen Servetah. My initial impression of him was positive and he encouraged me to stop in and view the car which I did. Steve then introduced me to Tom Doherty.
Quite honestly, I didn't relish the whole dealership experience. High pressure, back and forth haggling and a thoroughly stressful ordeal. Boy, was I wrong!!
From my initial meeting with Tom, he was professional, friendly and answered all of my questions with expertise. He even encouraged me to "date my car" for 24 hours to give me a good feel for its operation and to enable me to identify any problems with the car. My date went well, and I decided to purchase the car. My offer was accepted..no haggling. All of my concerns were dealth with concerning the little things needed on the vehicle. Again, no questions asked nor pressure.
Because of Tom's honesty, professionalism and attention to detail, I purchased a vehicle one year before I actually would have. Kudo's to him and to you for employing someone of his calibre. I will highly recommend Royal Chevrolet to all of my friends, family or colleagues who are interested in purchasing a car.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Anne C. Fox
